US-12 from Pershing to Henry Ruff - Design

Located in Westland, Wayne, and Inkster, this project encompasses the design of US-12 spanning approximately 3.4 miles from 0.25 miles west of Pershing Street to just east of Henry Ruff Road. Value Engineering LLC (VE) was responsible for pavement markings and non-freeway signing-related services, ensuring the completion of plans, specifications, and engineering cost estimates. The project included 4R reconstruction of EB US-12 from west of Pershing Street to Howe Road, along with CPM milling and one-course HMA resurfacing of WB US-12 from west of Pershing Street to Howe Road.

Scope of Work:
VE performed design services for pavement markings and non-freeway signing, encompassing the development of detailed plans, specifications, and engineering cost estimates. VE collaborated closely with project stakeholders to ensure alignment with project requirements throughout each milestone phase. This included regular communication, progress monitoring, and participation in over-the-shoulder and milestone reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables and project success.
